I Couldn't Possibly Make This Up

The spousal unit is now on the shady side of fifty, and today on the recommendation of his doctor, he went in for a colonoscopy. The name of the specialist who performed the procedure? Dr. Quazi.

  4. Too funny!

I really do hope the results come out fine. Oh, the joys of being over 50.

  6. thanks very much for asking, Amy -- he's fine...it's just one of those preventative procedures that most doctors recommend when a man hits middle age.

  7. I've been in the recovery room of a colonoscopy clinic. The procedure requires the colon to be inflated, so the recovery room is a bunch of semi-private (curtained off) beds with middle aged and older men who are loopy from the anesthetic and who are "deflating" repeatedly whilst their better halves roll their eyes.

  9. That's a good one (I used to commute by the office of a dentist named Dr. Youchi).
