It's Just Like Chosin (But Without The ChiComs And The Snow)


He was discharged from the hospital yesterday afternoon.  This morning he got up and walked to the bank and back.

Why yes, he does have this t-shirt.  Why do you ask?

(edited to add:  it is currently 90F/32C here.  I wouldn't walk to the bank with TWO good knees).

    did he use a cane? or other type of support? have to allow for some healing before over use.
    good luck with having him at home during convalescence

    I borrowed a walker for him. I figured if I didn't I was going to have to tie him to the bed, and that would Cause Talk.

    Only outside the house and this afternoon I caught him headed for the garage with just a cane.
