I've been reading and downloading vintage magazines like this one from Google Books all weekend, which is to say I haven't gotten a damn thing done.

Shay: the rural Midwest, United States; Middle-aged Middle-westerner, retired Marine and Detroiter who somehow wound up in a farm village of 1100 people.
