Also, for the first
time in a week Brian is getting a real dinner instead of sandwiches or warmed
over spaghetti or pizza. He’ll also be able to eat at 6pm instead of 8 or
9. Damn Daylight Savings Time, anyway.
Ham, new potatoes, peas, rolls, and a relish tray (devilled
eggs, homemade pickles, olives, carrots, celery), with banana cream pie for dessert. If he falls asleep over it, I won’t blame him
a bit.
Banana Crème Pie, oh my! I suggested to The Squire that he sort though some of his zillion and one paper-back sci-fi books to donate, and he grabbed his chest, staggered around, and asked why I just didn't rip out his heart and feed to the animals. Over-react much? Anyway, I had to bribe him with banana pudding, the sort with vanilla wafers and meringue on top, to convince him it *might* be worth his while.
