Settling In

Sheba's adjusting.  Minnie (grey tiger) is still hiding in the basement.

Reserve Cat has been hissing so much I'm surprised he hasn't run out of saliva.

Updated to add:  Sheba has already learned -- perhaps it's instinct -- that a cat's place is between a human and her book.

  1. See, SEE!! We told you to keep the two!!! Congrats on your new family members/girls.
Dare I ask how Chunk is doing with them?

  2. Is that Chunk or Bat Ears on the bed with Poppa?

  3. It's Chunk. Batdog is much handsomer.

Chunk *seems* to be doing ok. He's far more interested in them than Batdog is.

  4. Consider yourself surrounded. At least the big boy isn't trying to kill the kittens like my big lady cat did when I brought a rescue cat (in the big steel cage I got from my mum) into the house. Feeding time really will be a zoo for a while. Good luck!

  5. You guys are my kid of people. Look at all the books on the nightstand! (You know you're making it too easy for Sheba to get between you and the book.)

  6. Good for Sheba to let you read to her! Here's hoping Chunk and Batdog leave the girls alone.
