You fractured a rib tripping over Aunt Glady's porch steps. I fractured a rib because the Right Honorable Earl of Strathmore and Kinghorne needs to do something about that muddy bit between the gift shop and the coach park.
(Having a high pain threshold is not an unmixed blessing. It didn't dawn on me that I'd broken anything until after I got back).
Ye Gods, a royal injury.
ReplyDeleteHope you are feeling better now! Scotland just did not want you to leave.
ReplyDeleteFound out a friend, Dot and her daughter were also at the Fiber Festival in Scotland.
I love Glamis Castle, and I've been there a couple of times. My family used to live in Kirriemuir, which is fairly near the castle.
ReplyDeleteI can't remember a gift shop at the time, but it was about 40 years ago or so!
A fractured rib? Yea, gads! That is VERY painful. You have my deepest sympathy.
ReplyDeleteHelen, it's absolutely beautiful. I'm just sorry we weren't able to stay long enough to see the gardens.
ReplyDeleteHope you feel better soon and that the rib heals quickly.
