I used to pass an old farmhouse on my way to work, many years ago, that had a row of huge lilacs along one edge of their yard. They must have been ten or so feet tall and made a beautiful hedge in the spring. Along with our redbuds in Oklahoma it makes for a lovely spring!

ReplyDeleteI adore my grandmother's lilac bush we now own. However, no Spring yet in Conn.
ReplyDeleteIt went from warm & sunny yesterday to cold and grey today. The farmers are very unhappy with the weather.
