We were fed by the local American Legion post, which was churning out 700 meals each day - and you'll be glad to learn that the food improved considerably (the Salvation Army arrived and began paying the Legion for their groceries. I'm not a fan of the SA, but when it comes to disasters they have money and they aren't afraid to spend it).
You'd think the government would want you at tip top condition and offer up a salad...
