As a person who has domesticated ferals, I feel your pain. It takes a while and though grateful not to be out in the weather, they never let you forget that you are their oppressor.
Having domesticated 3 feral kittens (2 chose to be barn cats, 1 was a shop cat), lots of bandaids, hawking gloves and deep well of love and patience are needed. But that kitten is out for blood.
That look means business!
