My grandmother loved this paper doll. Me? Not so much. I liked more elaborate costumes.
Hope your staying cool... The "heat dome" just reached New England & they've been posting warnings & advice on handling the heat.
My mother had a set of those dolls. (She was born in 1921.) If I was VERY good, she'd let me play with them.
The dogs, the cats, and I, are all in the basement with two fans going.
It is pushing 10PM ear Baltimore and has cooled down to 76 degrees. The low for the night will be 70 - around 5 AM. My BFF and I once had a discussion about which we would be willing to give up - bathrooms or a/c. We decided we'd keep the a/c.
