yum! very different. i used to not enjoy beets after years of grade school lunches where you got two disks of canned pickled beets that tasted metallic, but i've come to appreciate them after having them in a more fresh state. what most kids did was punch the disks with the milk straw and blow the resulting plugs across the cafeteria.
