I have this booklet too. I love how the first part is in story form. I haven't seen that style very often in a recipe booklet.
I am just enchanted by the 1930's colors. (the recipes...eeeeehhhh..)

I can't get over the Fresh Asparagus Salad. Oh my!Of course I am fascinated by the illustrations. I would be tempted to have them framed.
I think advertising artists in this country peaked in the late 30's.
