Love me, love my cat? I have broken up with beaus who swore they wouldn't have a cat in the house. I knew if I let the romance o any further I'd always resent having to make that choice.
The first question my mom asked my step-dad was not did he like kids (she had 4 daughters) but did he like cats (at that point she had 2). He claimed to be a dog person until Badfinger arrived who claimed him as HIS human. From that day forward, he was a cat lover.
