That's a sad question to have to ask, regardless of which side of it you're on. Just, btw, being Canadian doesn't mean we don't ask the same question here; we just tend to mutter it into our beards.
Unless you are a member of the First Nations, we are ALL immigrants. Sadly, this country is no longer the land we all hoped for, whether we have just arrived or been here for generations.
