I saw a film of BBC where three ducklings were adopted by a cat which had just given birth to a litter of kittens. She took them in, and they grew up with the kittens. There's one shot where a duckling, now much more mature than the kittens, wanders off, and Momma grabs the duckling by the tail feathers and hauls it back into the nest.
