Departing tomorrow - I may blog on the trip but no guarantees because the spousal unit will be with me.  We were fortunate enough to hire a member of our vet's staff to housesit for us.

Leaving the dogs and Blitzen is going to be bad enough - leaving them alone would probably be a guarantee of wreckage upon our return.

Putting Me In My Place Dep't

 

One of the public libraries where the Little Man serves as a reading therapy dog is temporarily shutting down some of their programs due to a major remodeling that starts next week.  "Tales for Tails" is one of those affected.

Me:  Just let me know if and when you decide to start the reading program again - we'll be happy to return.

Librarian:  Oh, definitely - we really want to see (Little Man) here again!

(after an unflattering pause).

Librarian:  And you too, of course!

It's Been A While

 

Off to a training summit in beautiful Romeoville, IL - I am so glad to be back teaching in-person, even if it means I'm going to be standing up there for 6.5 hours wearing a mask.  I am not a big fan of remote learning.
