Two of my dogs (sweet Lab mixes) didn't even know what squirrels were until we moved back to Oklahoma. They were born in WA and the area we lived in didn't have many of them. Possums and Skunks are also on the new list of wanna play? Oh the fun we've had... The other was born here and basically doesn't do outside anything. But just let my son walk by my bedroom and you'd think he was the most heroic dog in the world, lol. The squirrels (real ones) like to walk across our back fence and tease the dogs, of course. I dread the day we run across and old he-coon and they get a little lippy with it.
