Quote of the Day

He'd noticed that sex bore some resemblance to cookery: It fascinated people, they sometimes bought books full of complicated recipes and interesting pictures, and sometimes when they were really hungry they created vast banquets in their imagination -- but at the end of the day they'd settle quite happily for egg and chips, if it was well done and maybe had a slice of tomato. ~ Terry Pratchett

Terry Pratchett and Barbara Tuchman are two writers I truly mourned because their passing meant no more of their books...

Love Sir Terry and his books, what a shame all the silly and joyous things are never going to be again. I'm really glad his daughter said no to anyone publishing or writing more in his style.

And there is a kickstarter that finished for Good Omens, his daughter did authorize that one and it's a lovely graphic novel of the book. Why yes, yes I did back that one!
