I was elected President of the county Disaster Council today. It would have been more of an honor but I ran unopposed.

When I see an unopposed candidate on the ballot, I generally do not cast a vote for that person. I figure that they'll be elected anyway, but I want them to feel that it was still a squeaker.
Oh course you ran unopposed - YOU THE BEST for the job. Congrats!
