So true. Several times I've wanted some item and once I got it, it wasn't nearly as wonderful as I had dreamt it would be. Glad to know it isn't just me!
I love this illustration: the worn furniture, what looks like a hand me fancy down dress, work boots, the rip in her stocking and her two precious creatures who will never get along. It's abundance and poverty and too many riches all in one. (think I'm getting soft and romantic in my old age - ha!)
