Another project from Holiday Handicraft, one with perhaps less applicability today than back when matches were often needed for things like stoves and smoking.

I like the way you do crafts!
As a matter of fact, this would be handy in our house. Our gas stove won't light when the power goes off, so we keep a zip bag of wooden matches in the top drawer. Finding someplace the light the matches can be a challenge.
Ho! Went to look up the book and discovered it was written by Nina Jordon, who was a favorite of mine when I was a kid. She wrote several books on making dolls, which I virtually devoured.
Sam, this way I have an excuse for how things turn out.
