Bad Habits

I've been working closely with the Southern Baptist disaster relief field kitchens for refueling and other motor transport support.

Based on a phone conversation I had this morning with one of their team leaders, they are under the impression that I am a former nun.

Well, isn't that something. The ability of people to fill in the blanks with supposition never ceases to amaze. Says a lot for your perseverance and good nature under the circumstances, though. Are you going to tell them? I can't stop laughing.

i have always admired your patience in adversity from your posts, but equally admired your acerbic humor in the face of reality.
so i fear all i can offer is a hearty snert guffaw snort, in the best possible of meanings regarding your audience.
bless 'em.

Can only imagine what you said that led to this assumption. Thanks for tackling relief work, even if you left your wimple at home.

I wouldn't have been surprised if some of the nuns from my catholic school childhood had been former Marines, so... I guess I can see the confusion.
