OK, I'll bite. Is this even legal any more, having the wheel offset so the toy's path is erratic? stupid question as there are more dangerous things in life. It sounds like a lot of fun to make and use. File under 'what men did in the basement when the game wasn't on' I could live with a room full of old, home made toys (and a train set) if the other half would put up with it. I don't even know anyone with a lathe, just a woman who does parquetry work which is beautiful, but serious work.
