Friends with Spanish Water Dogs have had delivery guys not leave packages because the dogs sound like the Hounds from Hell. When they merely want you to throw the ball or treat. Family members coming home get the Howl-Aleuhia Chorus.
Even my silly, happy forever puppy hated anyone wearing a uniform: the meter reader, the FedEx guy, the mailman/woman - anyone at all. Everyone else was greeted with tail wags and happy jumping about.

Every GSD we've ever owned (except the Little Man) has hated the UPS/Fedex guys with unreasonable fury. I've never figured out why.
