From the frozen land north of you: Some people up here complain that Canada doesn't have an elegant, fearsome national emblem and want to find something more interesting than the humble beaver. Not me. I have a soft spot for this hairy, unkempt, hard working and persistent little beastie. Give him a toque, and he's the average working Canadian.

I rather like Canada's non-fearsome emblem. Certainly more approachable than others.
