Please, keep both! I had a similar dilemma a while ago. Two lovely kittens, one small appartment... Now it's the three of us, me and DustBall and Mary Margaret and I cannot imagine my life without them.

I know...but we already have a cat and two dogs, so...

So? Keep 'em both. Poor Chunk may have a nervous breakdown, and Reserve Cat will probably go up in a puff of smoke, but things will settle down, and you'll forget there ever was a problem. (It's sort of akin to selecting your favorite child, y'know.)

Oh no! You must keep them both!!! Long story-won't go there....ended up adopting two brothers when we already had 3 special needs kitties! And we lost two special needs within 6 months… and then a kitten showed up out of the blue...the littles don't get along with the senior cat so I play musical rooms...it's all good.

sigh. we were offered two, but our city rules are 4 max. 2 cat 2 dog, 3 cat 1 dog, etc, any combination but 4 max. unless you do some sort of complicated expensive foster permitting.
so we are stopped at the moment.

Keep both! Reserve Cat will adjust to having Minions to torment Batdog. Besides more cats = less bugs and rodents in the house (or so my mom told my step-dad when cats #4 & #5 arrived).

Then give both away. They look like they need to stay together. They are so sweet in that photo.
