Vintage Magazines -- .44 Western

From July, 1943. A bottle, a Festus Hagen hat, and a pearl-handled six-shooter.  Too bad we can't see if he's got muley ears on his boots.

OK, I know we're both speaking English, or is that "Western". Learned a couple of new things today and found a site where the other half can find virtually any boot his heart desires, even something that looks like his ancient Beatle boots, and! traditional lace up moccasins for me. My dad had those in the 30s when he was lumberjacking for a while and swore they were the softest, most comfortable and warmest boots ever.
Who knew what that hat was called or that boots had mule ears? What fun!
