And for the knitters out there, Australian animals desperately need our help - The Rescue Collective and Animal Rescue Collective are providing patterns and asking for assistance in producing pouches for orphan joeys, mittens for koalas with burned paws, blankets, knitted vests and sweaters.  A link to patterns and the FB group collecting donations is here (and if you don't knit, they're happy to take cash donations).
