Some people still haven't figured out how true this is.
As in THE WHOLE COUNTRY - not the weird skinny slice you like.
Democracy is messy and takes patience, but the process of reaching a consensus between people who have different priorities and experiences makes for a stronger, more resilient country. It's worth the work. And it's built on free and fair elections.
