The mid-century craze for "novelty" lapel pins included miniature versions of just about everything you could think of - military personnel, flowers, Scottie dogs (very popular) and here from the May, 1966 Workbasket magazine, a pair of doll-sized scuffs (which I think would look better on a doll).
This particular issue is from the Internet Archive and available as a free download.

I actually have a pair of Scottie dogs pin, and it's made from Bakelite, I think. It may actually be older than mid century. I have no idea where I got it though.
They were very popular.
I love dolls and dressing them, so I will happily use this pattern to make some slippers.
Does wearing felt shoes on your lapel mean wearing lapels on your feet?
