Other Crafts - Millinery from 1947

Another "Found Money" article from a 1947 Woman's Day. Five pages of photos and instructions are on my Flickr account.

If anyone decides to make one of these, I know we all would love to see the photos (especially that first turban.  I can make no sense of the instructions).

Heh,heh (evil sister laugh) - going to print and make Sister #2 sew this turban. Could be useful for "Pride & Prejudice" on Caroline Bingley. Yes, we get to make all those yummy dresses of Jane Austen.

For icing on the cake, find a jewelled aigrette to pin on the other side.

You might even be able to do something with that Halo.

Pattycat - I know! I nearly hit the director when she suggested another time period. ANd yes, that halo may end up on Lady De Bourgh.
