You have all the fun! Okay, you also get the boring yet vital jobs too. So thank you!
We get a UK produced TV show hosted by experts in ancient/medieval weapons. One show had ancient Chinese grenades. Don't know if you've ever seen them, but they're remarkably similar to the modern pineapple shape. My fav is the Chinese movable battlefield weapon that looks like a rocket launcher that has multiple flaming arrows launched through a cluster of bamboo tubes.
As the guy on Mythbusters would say: Let's go blow something up!
If I were an engineer I could explain how the pineapple scoring helped the metal exterior of the grenade disperse into a lethal pattern of fragments once the interior charge went off.
But I'm not, so I can't.
Oh my God.
