Vintage Advertising - Old Dutch Cleanser

From Good Housekeeping magazine, August 1919.

Somewhere in a box that's still packed, is an embroidery transfer that looks like a mail in offer from Old Dutch with the Dutch maid logo and, I think, a windmill.
This from a woman who, in her youth, had to be restrained from climbing the side of an old building to retrieve a curved corner sign, an enamel one, in red and yellow, advertising Old Dutch.
Under the heading of: darn, I wanted that sign.

I love this stuff. Cleanser of choice at our house - this or Bon Ami. It never scratches, and it does clean well.
