Time's fun when you're having Flies. ~Kermit

But really, who wants to eat flies?

The Squire has been tracing his family tree, and one of his ancestors was a man who lived in The Netherlands. The posting said, in its entirety - "He was born in 1532. He died."

Um, yes.

I hope the squire is having better luck that I did. I have a very frustrating family with a common last name that had mostly boy children, most of whom were named George, William or John. Not a Clarence, Edgar or Rupert among the lot.

Bunny, what drives The Squire nuts is when you have three brothers, all of whom name their sons after their father - and each other!

My great-grandfather was Jacob Schmidt. German for John Smith! My great-grandmother divorced him, and destroyed all traces - no marriage records, no birthdate, nothing. Talk about your monumental dead ends!
