Many, many years ago I had a cat who simply could NOT start the day without "kissing" me on the nose. She'd climb up my housecoat to reach my face if I didn't pick her up. She'd bite me on the nose once and then was good to go for the rest of the day.
While I am only allowed the rare kitten kiss from the Maine Coons, they are required to boop my finger before any dry kibble will be dropped into a bowl.
