Overkill

This is what happens when, in the discharge of your duties, you slice a very small snippet off the end of your thumb, and it won't stop bleeding, and you request a bandaid from the Red Cross RN on duty who is a Level 1 trauma nurse in civilian life.

Really? That was the best a level 1 could do? No stitches or steri strips or even packing and some tape? Gee, I get more inventive with all the lovely bandaid shapes and things I keep around. I'm a serious klutz who was married to an ex EMT and I have a full kit in the house now, including lots of gloves. I'm always cutting something or other and he wasn't much better at times. I love me some latex gloves and keep them everywhere, they have saved me from a lot of problems over the years. Especially in the kitchen or when crafting.

I guess someone wanted to retain skills and was bored? Sorry about the cut. Love the wrappings. But no sling?
