Vintage Toys - A French Reindeer From 1950

From Modes et Travaux, 1950, some stuffed toys for mamans to make.  The only pattern given is for the reindeer in the upper right corner, and you can find it about three-quarters of the way down the page on Beni's website.  No English instructions given, but cute, non?

I captured the pattern pieces, and it seems pretty straight-forward to me. I'll keep you posted on how it turns out.

Those toys look like they're made of oilcloth. I really like the circus pony.
Did anyone else notice the embroidery borders, the dress with cross over neck and pleated skirt, or the reversible scarf and the jacket with contrasting wide revers? Now, that's what I call a knitting book.

Beni posts vintage scans every Monday morning (her time, which I think is Central European Standard Time). She has some nice stuff in her collection.

Those ears look like they would be tricky!
