I weep for my country.

There are no adequate words to describe how sad I am for America. All that is good and brave is buried under lies and horror.

My grandfather used to say "you have to eat a peck of dirt before you die." I'd say the old airman has had his fill already and then some. Gratuitous insult and boorish.

Not "all" if you, and countless other Americans, are horrified by this behavior. Sadly, it falls on us to fix this. As Edmund Burke said, "The only thing necessary for the triumph of evil is for good men to do nothing."

Actually, President Bush presented the Tuskegee Airmen with the Congressional Medal of Honor already! They have also received many other honors and recognition. The Presidential Medal of Freedom is a civilian honor. There was no insult there.

The insult is two-fold; that Limbaugh was awarded the Presidential Medal of Freedom, and that this was done at a ceremony that also honored the Tuskegee airmen. The amount of cognitive dissonance in that room should have caused a rift in the space-time continuum.
