From Workbasket, October 1947, an intriguing variation on the standard "bunch of grapes" tatted Vandyke edging. The entire issue (including another tatting pattern) is available as a free download from the Vintage Pattern Library.
It's worth noting that 1947 seems to have been the year that WB started running advertisements.

Not sure I will try this one. My aunt prefers smaller edges on her hankies.
It's more of a doily thing, I think.
