The neighbor's Old English Sheepdog used to herd all the kids in the area, if he through we were too close to the road.
The Little Man tries to herd Blitzen, who is the only one of the cats who will put up with that.
Friends have Spanish Water Dogs - farm dogs that herd, react, alert. I tell people to research what a dog was meant to do. And Border Collies have VERY active brains that need tasks. Like Rally.
