I enjoy Christmas hymns and carols, but too much Christmas "music" drives me nuts. "Rocking Around the Christmas Tree" and "I saw Mommy Kissing Santa Claus" gets on my nerves. And the folks who have to gussy up the songs with trills and swoops - sing it the way it was written, or go write your own dog- gone song!
Lol, Barking Dogs Christmas song. I hate it sooooo much. My second or third year working at Walmart and it seemed like our store music got stuck on that particular one. Since I live in Oklahoma we also get the country music and country music seasonal songs. It's all enough to drive you crazy when you are trapped in a building with the crazy hordes. I have a music degree so I love classical Christmas and hymns.
