IwonIwonIwonIwonIwon!

I've been entering the weekly pattern giveaway at The Hem Line and this week I won two terrific vintage 50's patterns, one of them a hot jacket!

(A great big thank you to Lisa for this early Christmas present).

Congratulations! I hope we get to see the Jacket made up! What fabric are you going to use?
I love the title for this blog post! It exudes your excitement over winning a giveaway~I feel the same way when I win a giveaway, too! :)

and I'm not going to cast my eyes down modestly and say "I never win anything..."

I won tickets to a Red Wings game once and now I've won this, so....

Doesn't it look like the Li'l Minx knitted jacket?

What a great jacket with the special front pockets!
Thanks a lot for the comment you made on my Flickr photo of the WWII knitting. It's amazing and makes me wonder even more why the knittings I found with the magazine were never finished.

Enjoy the snow, here its bright and sunny but or Christmas won't be white...

Greetings from Belgium.

Merci, Sophie! Our white winter weather has frozen solid and temperatures tonight are supposed to be 10F/-12C.

Perhaps the woman who was knitting for her loved one ran out of yarn because of rationing...or more sadly, perhaps she learned that he had been killed. So many war stories will never be told.
