This is my take on that photo: Somebody's Mommy went to the craft/fabric store, made a blankie for her baby with love, so much love, for her baby so far away, in harm's way, something to wrap him in her abundant love. Her baby loves his Mommy so, that he would wear anything, anything, that she makes for him, probably even big bunny pink jammies with floppy ears too, if he had to. He love his Mommy, too. Someone else might read a different meaning, but that's my take on this. God bless our armed forces and keep them out of harm's way. .

I think it's kind of sweet, myself. I doubt his platoon sergeant does, though.
