Too funny! "the leisure of summer and early fall" Sure, between tending the garden, picking the produce and putting it up (doing it down) preserving it, pickling (grandmothers, aunts, mother and neighbours all called it something different.)
Love these old patterns using stretchy garter stitch and variations as they fit a almost everyone and "grow" with children.
