Which reminds me: you were going to teach us all to pack a GO bag or at least like you do in a tiny bag for a week of travel. Maybe when you come home? With all the natural disasters happening, can any one of us not be prepared?
1 pair leggings and t-shirt (to sleep in) 3 sets underwear 3 pairs socks 1 pair knit slacks 1 ltwt rayon short sleeved blouse 1 ltwt merino cardigan toiletries (my kit bag is about 5x7x2 - I don't use makeup and take only travel sizes)
Lay anything big - like the leggings and the slacks - across the bottom of the suitcase with the legs hanging off either end. Roll everything else into the tiniest rolls you can and layer them over the slacks. Drop the toiletries bag on top along. Flip the slacks legs up over the contents and zip. There was plenty of room in a small drag-on.
For a week I'd take two more tops and 2 more sets of underwear and probably pack the shoes and wear running shoes. The secret is everything in the same color family so you can mix and match, knits, and roll those suckers tightly/
My slacks were tan and dark charcoal grey, my shoes were dark brown, my tops were yellow and cream, my cardis were black and orange. I washed the cream top out in the hotel washbasin on Monday night and wore it home.
Worn on the plane:
1 pair knit slacks 1 pr socks 1 pr walking shoes 1 knit top 1 cashmere cardigan 1 shawl underwear of course. 1 rainjacket with zipin lining, gloves stuffed in the pockets

Safe travels in the snow.
Be safe! We'll keep the site warm while you're away.
