Three freshly-cooked hamburgers have disappeared off the kitchen counter, and nobody's talking.

Ah the culprit was The Evil Twin, Skippy (that is who my 3 sisters and I blamed when things went wrong). All pups and cats are presumed innocent unless found burping burger flavors.
It could have been teamwork: cat nibbles, knocks them off counter, dogs swallow; or, it could have been a stretch with extra long dog tongue. Security cam in the kitchen, anyone? Bet they all look sooo innocent.
Bunnykins, Minnie has done this before so I wouldn't be at all surprised.
