Had a cat who loved the plastic rings off the milk jug. Thought the 12 I swept out from under the old stove was it. Until the installer of the new stove gave me 27 more...showed me the bottom storage drawer pulls out to reclaim the toys...He had a good laugh.

One of our granddaughters had about a bazillion stuffed toys, and by gum! she could tell of even one was missing.

Yep. I use a yardstick to reach under the kitchen cabinets to get the kitty toys. My cats go nuts when they see it. Yay, we get our toys back!
With our dogs, the favorite toy is the one that the other dog has at that moment.
