Our daughter called us from Florida about an hour ago. High of 32. Better than Buffalo, at any rate, but hardly tropical.
Can you decline?
Decline as in, please let stay longer than 2 weeks?
I have to decline because I have a colonoscopy scheduled.I know - not a particularly attractive reason to stay at home but if I cancel, I'll have to wait five months for another appointment, they are that backed up.
It occurs to me that "backed up" was not the best phrase to use when referring to a colonoscopy clinic.
