Beverly Nichols was one of my favorite authors. I was ready one of his books while I was waiting for the doctor and got to laughing so hard the receptionist just HAD to know what I was reading.
Several of his books are available to read on Open Library. I've enjoyed the gardening ones.
I would assume he had done...something...and immediately start checking around. I'm suspicious of cats, and dogs who get the "who, me?" look.
