I'm positive we didn't have this problem back in the old Corps

(vintage ad from Patricia at Agence Eureka).

Soldiers in Sweden are complaining that the military-issue brassieres they have to wear are too flammable.

I really couldn't make this up, could I?

I'd say that if they're going to be prone to catching fire, then it's probably a good thing that they also come undone?

The US military stopped issuing women's underwear after WWII...now they give us an initial clothing allowance and tell us to go buy it from civilian stores.

Just as well, I think; can you imagine what the specifications for a military-issue brassiere must look like?
